Application Role

Hi,
We have many applications in our organisation and the backend we are
using is sql server 2000 with SP4. some Application using window
Authentication and some using sql Authentication.
but i do not want user or other person can use the same login details
and access the same through sql server client.can anyone please
explain the steps for the same
